What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. download the ubuntu file system archives
2. use cat command to create a zip with all the archive parts
3. extract zip file to obtain final image

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expected: obtain the tar.gz file, the .img file, the .jffs2 file

I have looked into this issue and have started implementing patches to the standard mv_cesa driver that will enable the TDMA engines to work with the CESA engines to off-load the processor. The problem I have run into is the documentation for the CESA/TDMA engines is missing details on how...					

I have noticed that if i use the sheevaplug's code for openRD (ie) /arch/arm/mach-kirkwood/sheevaplug-setup.c by setting the archNumber to 2097 then one ethernet port(eth0) works. Then i copied the pci init function call from the openrd file into the above mentioned file and PCI-Express also seem to be working fine....					

The mv_cesa driver doesn't use DMA, so performance is limited to 8MB/s (even less if the CPU is busy with other tasks). This makes quite a difference when (parts of) the hard disk is encrypted and/or when using IPSec.

Much higher throughputs should be possible when using TDMA: reading input (<800MB/s),...
